Clans and Diplomacy

Antik Cag can be played alone but it is not won alone. Large regions of the map are held by clans, and big conquests are made with coordinated attacks.

Founding and joining

From the clan screen you can found a clan or answer an invitation. A clan holds up to fifty members by default; the limit is set in the world rules. You can belong to only one clan at a time.

Roles and permissions

The clan leader defines roles and assigns them to members. Permissions such as sending invitations, declaring war, posting announcements and creating plans are attached to roles. Leadership can be transferred to another member.

Communication

A clan has three channels.

• Chat: quick, immediate messaging.
• Announcements: permanent notices every member should see.
• Forum: threads and replies for longer discussions.

An attack plan belongs wherever it is discussed; chat scrolls away, the forum stays.

Diplomacy

Clans can form alliances, up to five per world by default. An alliance is an agreement not to attack each other and to send support; the game does not enforce it, it records it.

A war declaration formalises a conflict between two clans. A declared war is visible on both clan pages and lasts until it is ended.

War plans

The clan war plan screen exists to coordinate joint attacks. You create a plan, set targets and assign tasks to members. Each task can be bound to a land or naval movement, so who hits which target at what time is tracked in one place.

Used together with the arrival planner, ten separate players' armies land on a single city in the same minute. That is the strongest part of clan play.

Being a good clan member

• Answer calls for support. Losing an ally to protect your own army is a loss in the long run.
• Share your spy reports. Information gains value when it is shared.
• Say so before you attack. An unannounced attack means your clan is caught unprepared for the counter.
